How to get quotes and book cab online?
Open the Cabhit link and confirm your location with entering postcode. In Booking overview you can change your pick-up address manually and enter a destination. The next click confirms your address selection and your options, and you will receive quotes from operators associated with cabhit with the ratings. Your journey displayed, name,and estimated time to the destination.
How do i book a taxi transfer from the airport?
Book through our ‘Instant Online Quote’ booking engine, or by emailing/calling us.
Does it cost anything to use the Cabhit app?
No, you can use the app for free. There are no additional costs.
Prices
Are the prices per taxi or per person?
All our prices are per taxi. We do not provide shared taxis.
How many luggage can i fit in the car with me?
Every vehicle has different space for luggage, so please check the availability of the vehicle and make sure that you book the correct vehicle type as per your luggage.
What if besides my luggage i carry with me any extra items such as, golf kit, skis etc?
To ensure that all your stuff fit in the car, kindly mention any additional extras such as these through the booking process.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Don’t worry. We check your flight arrival time, so if your flight is delayed we are aware of it. The driver will be at the airport with the new time of arrival without extra cost. If you know in advance that your flight will be delayed, kindly inform your taxi company either by mail or phone or leave a message on our Live Chat.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, you can book up to 3 journey at the same time. If for any reason you need to cancel the booking please inform Cabhit by email or phone before time-lapse for cancellation.
Do i get confirmation of my booking?
Yes of course, after you submit your transfer and payment successful an email with a booking confirmation will be sent to you.
What shall i do if i don’t receive my booking confirmation?
Please contact us by call 00442085723206 or by email [email protected] and our customer service team will deal with your booking as quickly as possible.
Will i be dropped-off and picked up directly from my hotel or private address?
Yes, all our transfers will deliver straight to your hotel or private address and will conveniently collect you from the same point for your return journey.
Do I need to register to use cabhit?
No, you do not need to register, but can also as a guest user by entering your name and your phone number. Registering means that you can use all Cabhit features in future, however, such as Payment.
What should I do if I forget my user name?
After successfully registering for ‚My account’, you are sent an email with your user name. If you delete this email by mistake, simply contact us and we are happy to help: You can reach support by email at customerservice [email protected].
What are the conditions for paying ?
In order to be able to pay , you need a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) or a PayPal account. You also need to register for the menu item, My account’ and save at least one payment method.
How much does paying by Credit card/Amex or Paypal ?
Paying by debit card costs you nothing. As usual, you pay the relevant cab quote.
PayPal payment incurs a surcharge of 3%

Can I rate my driver?
You can rate your driver and operator with up to 10 stars after the trip.
Is my cab safe? Who are the drivers picking me up?
All drivers and operators are licensed. every single driver have registered with local transport authority with CRB check.
Does cabhit has access to my payment data?
No, all data is secure via certificated encrypting systems. Cabhit cooperates with superior companies PayPal and Barclays. Cabhit itself can never access any data.
Why do I have to enter a phone number when booking?
Your phone number is important so that the driver can get in touch with you if there are questions or sudden difficulties (traffic jam, blocked area, etc.)

During airport pick up where will driver meet at the airport and how much waiting time is included?
Your driver will meet you at Arrivals with your or guest name board at all airports Terminals. You will receive instructions of the meeting point in your email confirmation from the taxi company after you make the booking and confirmation send.
Taxi firms will use your flight number to track your flight and ensure your driver is waiting for you when you land. They monitor delays and update the time and send driver in arrivals hall accordingly.
When you take a quote to book taxi, 45 minutes waiting time for international arrivals and 25 minutes for domestic arrivals is included with nothing extra to pay. After this waiting time fees are charged accordingly to taxi companies policy. If you think you might take longer than this to clear customs, you can inform the driver or company with the time that the free waiting period starts.
What are peak/off peak hours and what are the differences in taxi prices at these times?
We do not charge for peak hours travel, when you get a quote for your taxi booking online our prices remain fixed for all hours. Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year time the taxi cost can go up to 30% high then normal prices with high demand.
How will I know my driver & car details?
3 hours before the journey time, taxi company will send you either SMS or mail with the driver’s details including the make and model of the car and the driver’s contact number.
I’ve left my personal belongings in one of taxi operators cars. How do I get it back?
If you think you’ve left any item in one of our associated taxi companies, contact them on their direct number which is on your booking confirmation with a description of your items and contact details. A member of their team will be in touch to provide an update. You can also contact the driver to collect the item if he agree to deliver at his own convenience of time. You can also request the company or driver to courier it on your own expenses , if it is a long distance journey some companies might charge you to deliver the items.
How do I get a receipt?

- Here If you booked and haven’t registered via the app or web, you can click the link in your booking confirmation ‘ View booking’ and it will open the booking confirmation details.
- Select view all bookings history if you have register your account
- Select the booking you would like a receipt for
- Select Print Receipt or send via Email

There is a additional comments box on main page where flight number or any special instruction can be mention for driver and taxi company.
Can i book my car in advance?
Yes, you can book car service either with minimum notice period of 60 minutes and up to 11 months in advance at fixed price.
