How much waiting time is included in Airport Transfers?
Cabhit offers a standard waiting time of 45 minutes for international flights and 30 minutes for domestic flights.
However, we understand that delays may happen due to unavoidable circumstances. There could be flight delays due to bad weather, delays in immigration and customs clearance, or collecting luggage. If you face any of the situations that take more than the expected time to reach the arrival hall, then please inform the driver or the taxi company.
What is the airport pickup process?
Cabhit always makes airport transfers less stressed and more comfortable for you. When you book an airport taxi transfer with us, you can rest assured of on-time pickup.
Once you confirm the minicab booking, you will receive an email from the taxi company. The email includes the instructions of the meeting point along with the details about the taxi & the driver. The driver will meet & greet you in the Arrival Hall at the specified airport terminal.
The taxi firm will use your flight number to track the flight. Our taxi operators monitor flights for any delay to ensure you do need not wait for the driver upon landing. The driver will be at the arrival hall with your name board before you clear the customs.
When you take a quote to book a taxi, the driver arrives in the arrivals hall 45 minutes after flight landing time for international flight wherein it is 25 minutes for domestic arrivals. All the taxi quotes are inclusive of the waiting time charges for the above-mentioned time.
Waiting fees will be applied according to the policy of the taxi company after the specified waiting time is over. If you think you might take longer than the mentioned time to clear customs, you can inform the driver or company of the time that the free waiting period starts.
What will happen to my booking if the flight gets cancelled?
In case your flight gets cancelled, kindly inform us through the Live Chat support available on Cabhit.com or call us. If you inform us before the booking cancellation cut-off time, we will process your request accordingly. The taxi booking cancellation cut-off time is 5 hours before the journey starts.
Where can I mention my flight details?
Cabhit ensures you enjoy hassle-free, timely pick-ups and drop-offs. When you book an airport taxi transfer, we need your flight details for timely drop-offs. As the traffic and the weather can be unpredictable, keeping a buffer time is required to drive you safely to the airport. Similarly, we keep a track of your flights so you do not need to wait for the driver at the arrival hall after that long and tiring journey.
There is an additional comments box on the main page and on the payments page where flight details or any special instructions can be mentioned for the driver and the taxi company.
Where will the driver meet at the airport?

What happens if my flight gets delayed?
In case your flight gets delayed, kindly inform us through the Live Chat option available at Cabhit.com or call us at 00442085723206. However, if you have already mentioned your flight details with us at the time of taxi booking, then our minicab operator will track the flight before dispatching a taxi to the airport. The driver will reach the airport with a new flight arrival time at no extra cost.
The taxi company will notify you about the meeting point and other pickup instructions through an email well in advance before the trip.
Can I reschedule my cab booking?
Yes, Cabhit allows you to reschedule a taxi booking. To reschedule a booking, please contact us through the Live Chat option available on our website or call us at 00442085723206. Make sure that you initiate this request before the cancellation cut-off time. Our customer support executive will process the request with the new schedule that you have provided.
If the request to reschedule a booking is accepted, then the system will send you an email about the updated taxi transfer booking.
